To download something from the ftp site:

1). Right-click (using your right mouse button) on the file you want to download and answer yes to the question "Running a system command on this item might be unsafe. Do you wish to continue?"

2). Left-click and choose "Copy to folder"

3). Choose the folder on your system you want to download the file to. This method has been tested for Internet Explorer 5.5. If this does not work there can be several causes... The main cause is usually not enabling the "enable folder view for ftp sites" option in Internet Explorer.

To resolve this:

1). Access "tools" from the pull-down menu in Internet Explorer.

2). Choose "internet options".

3). Click on the "advanced" tab.

4). Put a check on "enable folder view on ftp sites".

5). Click "apply" and "OK". When trying to access the ftp site, if you get a message saying "this page cannot be viewed" then please try again later. This means the ftp site is down.
